PARTS SUPPLY

Military parts, to the exact part number.

NOT ON THE LIST

Send the solicitation anyway. If the approved source will sell the part to us, we quote it. If not, you get a plain no-bid.

02 · SOURCING STANDARD

Six rules on every order

Every quote Isilya submits is a legal certification. These rules decide what we bid on and how it reaches you.

01

Approved sources only

The exact manufacturer CAGE and part number the solicitation lists, bought from that maker or its authorized distributor. No cross-references and no “equivalents.”

02

No substitutions

The part and the source we quote are the part and the source we ship. Nothing changes after the quote goes in.

03

Authorized electronics

Electronic parts come only from the original manufacturer or an authorized distributor, the first-choice sources under DFARS 252.246-7008, even where the rule would allow others.

04

Checked before it ships

Suppliers send photos of markings, labels and certificates before anything leaves their dock.

05

Ten years of records

Manufacturer, CAGE, lot or date codes and every company in between, kept on file for ten years.

06

Signed by the owner

The owner reviews and signs every quote personally. Nothing is submitted automatically.

03 · QUOTES

How a quote works

Send the solicitation and we take it from there. Every order moves through the same six steps.

  1. 01 Solicitation DIBBS, SAM.gov or an emailed RFQ
  2. 02 Source check Approved makers, set-aside, lead time
  3. 03 Signed quote Supplier pricing in hand, owner signs
  4. 04 Award Order placed with the maker or distributor
  5. 05 Direct shipment To destination with CoC, labels and marking
  6. 06 Invoice In WAWF the day it ships

WHAT TO SEND

  • The solicitation, RFQ or RFP number
  • Part number or NSN, as the solicitation lists it
  • Quantity and unit of issue
  • Delivery date and destination
  • Packaging and marking requirements, if any

WHAT YOU GET BACK

A signed quote

Or a plain no-bid
When the approved source will not sell to us, or the lead time cannot be met, we say so instead of guessing.
Records with every shipment
Certificate of conformance, lot or date codes, and the chain of companies back to the maker.

04 · QUESTIONS

NSNs, CAGE codes and DIBBS

Do you quote by NSN?

Yes. Send the National Stock Number or the part number exactly as the solicitation lists it. An NSN is 13 digits: the four-digit federal supply class, then the nine-digit NIIN. We match it to the approved CAGE code and part number before we quote.

What does approved source mean?

The manufacturer, named by its five-character CAGE code, and the part number the solicitation lists as acceptable. We buy from that maker or its authorized distributor and ship that part number. We do not offer alternates.

Can you quote on DIBBS yet?

Not yet. Quoting on DIBBS, the DLA Internet Bid Board System, and on SAM.gov starts when our SAM.gov registration completes and the CAGE code and UEI are issued. They will appear on the company data page. Until then, email the RFQ and we will tell you whether we can quote it.

What packaging and marking do you ship to?

Whatever the solicitation calls for, usually MIL-STD-2073-1 packaging and MIL-STD-129 marking with bar-coded labels, plus IUID marking to MIL-STD-130 when the contract requires it. If we cannot meet a requirement, we no-bid rather than quote with an exception.

Where do parts ship from?

Isilya is a Missouri company. Parts ship directly from the manufacturer or authorized distributor to the destination on the contract, with the maker’s certificates and our certificate of conformance.

Where do electronic parts come from?

Switches, connectors, relays and solenoids come only from the original manufacturer or its authorized distributor, the first-choice sources under DFARS 252.246-7008. Never from brokers or independent distributors.
